Here we go!

This is my inaugural blog post! So here I am, a BA in English, supposedly I can write stuff. Yet, here I sit... unable to conjure up anything relevant or exciting.
I could tell ya'll about how my DH lost his driver's liscence and went to get a new one here just yesterday. I could then tell you how he called me this AM, laughing, because he decided to move his stuff from the old-battered-falling apart wallet to the brand spanking new one. (New as in 2 yrs. ago his folks gave it to him for the holidays.) As he cleaned to old wallet out he tells me he found the old liscence! LOL!
I could ramble on about my scrapping projects, but I can't really because they're shush-shush super secret!
I promise in the future I'll let ya'll see stuff, but not yet.
I could brag about my boys! They're doing pretty well! Nothing really super-exciting to report. They haven't really said or done anything extrodinary in a couple of days... but I suspect they will pretty soon.... OOOOH! I take that back. My younger lad read to me last night! The book he read is one we've done many times so I know he knows it by heart. But I could tell that last night he was really doing his best to read the words out loud. Due to his speech problems somewhere between his brain and his mouth it gets garbled, but I could still tell he was reading! YAY!
My older lad is learning the trumpet... It pushes my patience sometimes, because I used to be so good. I know that w/ time and practice he will get better, and to be honest he really is doing pretty well. I just hope he learns to enjoy playing like I did. The younger lad seems to want to learn too, and to be honest I think he might have a knack for it.
Cub Scouts have us on our toes with everything we need to to. It's fun, mostly, and it seems that I'm going to have to stock up on poster boards! Just about everything they need to do involves making some kind of poster, SHEESH! :-)

So I'll close this and promise to post something fun as soon as we do something interesting!
